Multi-Line International Programs

Global Business Insurance for International Operations

Running a business internationally means your US commercial insurance policies almost certainly don't protect you where you need it most. Our global business insurance programs are structured from the ground up to cover your operations — wherever in the world you do business.

What's Included

A Complete International Commercial Program

A global business insurance program is not a single policy — it's a coordinated suite of coverage lines designed to work together and eliminate gaps between domestic and international exposure. We build these programs around your specific operations, countries, and risk profile.

Whether you need a single global master policy administered from the US, coordinated local policies in each country of operation, or a combination, we structure the program to meet both your risk transfer needs and the regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction.

How Our Global Programs Are Different

Worldwide Coverage Territory

Our international programs are written with worldwide coverage territory — not limited to the US, Canada, and territories like most domestic policies. Your business is covered wherever it operates.

Coordinated Program Design

We coordinate all coverage lines to eliminate gaps and overlaps. Your GL, property, workers' comp, and specialty lines are designed to work together as a unified international program.

Local Regulatory Compliance

Some countries require local insurance policies. We navigate local admitted requirements and coordinate with in-country partners to ensure your program is legally compliant in every jurisdiction.

Global Business Insurance FAQ

Does my US commercial package policy cover my overseas offices?
Standard US commercial package policies (CPP or BOP) typically limit the coverage territory to the United States, its territories, and Canada. Property at foreign locations, liability for overseas operations, and employees abroad are commonly excluded or severely limited. International commercial package policies are structured to cover your global footprint comprehensively.
Can I add international coverage to my existing domestic policy?
In some cases, domestic carriers offer international endorsements that expand coverage territory. However, these endorsements often have significant limitations and sublimits. For businesses with substantial overseas operations, a dedicated international commercial package typically provides broader, more reliable coverage.
How is an international commercial program priced?
International commercial insurance is priced based on revenue, payroll, and asset values by country; the nature of operations; the countries of operation (political and natural catastrophe risk); claims history; and the specific coverage lines required. Programs are quoted individually — there are no standard rate tables for international placements.
Do you offer coverage for controlled foreign corporations (CFCs)?
Yes. We structure programs that properly cover US parent companies and their foreign subsidiaries, including controlled foreign corporations. Coverage can be structured as a global master policy or as coordinated local policies depending on regulatory requirements in each country.
